Welcome to The Gamers' Emporium

You're looking at the website for Swansea and Carmarthen's independent retailer of board, card, miniature and role-playing games.

COVID-19 Situation Update

In light of the revised restrictions from the Welsh Government, our Swansea store will be doing over-the-counter sales from Saturday 27th June 10:00-16:00. The service will then run every Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00-16:00, with more days being added if the demand is high enough

Because of the nature of the store, we've decided that it would be too tricky to enforce 2m distancing in store, especially as we'd also have to impose restrictions on the handling of stock by customers (or quarantine items you'd put your grubby mitts on for 72 hours each time someone touched something!).

Therefore, sales will be carried out at a temporary till by the store door. You'll be able to step inside, ask for advice on what to purchase, tell us what you want and we'll bring your items to you.

We'd prefer it if you paid by card/contactless payment, but we're not going to say no to cash in a pinch.

We've set up a spaced queue to the right of the store entrance as you look at the shop. Please keep your distance from other customers while queueing.

Our webstore remains operational for deliveries and click-and-collect. Orders will be fulfilled on a less frequent basis due to the store's limited opening times and also to minimise non-essential journeys. We are currently dispatching orders twice per week, on a Monday and Thursday morning.

This means that orders placed up until 16:00 on a Saturday will be marked as dispatched on the Saturday and then posted/collected on Monday morning, and orders placed from Saturday evening to Wednesday 16:00 will be marked as dispatched on Wednesday and posted/collected on Thursday morning.

Click-and-collect orders will be ready for collection a minimum of 20 minutes after they have been placed, and only on days which the store is otherwise open (presently Wednesday and Saturday)

Thank you for your support during these interesting times, and we look forward to seeing more of you over the coming weeks.

Look after yourselves and stay safe.

All the best, Simon, Sam, Titch, Jack, Tom and Kieran.
