COVID-19 Situation Update
Arrangements from 10th November onwards
With the updated rules from the Welsh Government coming into effect on Monday 9th November, we are now able to resume a limited form of in-store events.
You will only be able to take part in an event by booking it online here. Events will comprise both tournaments, and more casual-play sessions.
Before attending any of our events, you must read the relevant policies, which are available on our website here. In order to ensure the safety of customers and staff, we will be strictly enforcing these policies.
Event sessions will be time limited (to three-and-a-half hours per session) to reduce the exposure time of customers interacting with others outside of their household. We realise that the sessions are more expensive than our previous daily admission fees, but in order to comply with the regulations and restricitions we need to deploy significantly more staff than usual, which makes our running costs significantly higher.
Customers with an existing yearly membership pass CANNOT use their pass to take part in, or discount admission to these events, they must pay the full admission price. However fear not, if your year pass was still in date as of 23/03/2020, then when we are able to resume more normal operations, you will receive an automatic extension to your pass for the time that you had left back in March.
We still won't be allowing in-store browsing at this point, and will continue to operate our service-at-the-counter approach, with a maximum of 2 customers in the sales area at a time. You'll be able to step inside and view from a distance our Board Games and TCG ranges, ask for advice on what to purchase, tell us what you want and we'll bring your items to you. We're more than happy to bring over swathes of products for you to look at (but not touch), and for our War-games and Role-Playing Games ranges that's the only option as we could only make our remote-browsing area so big...
We'd prefer it if you paid by card/contactless payment, but we're not going to say no to cash in a pinch.
Our online store will continue to operate as normal from Monday 9th onwards, with in-store collection resuming from Tuesday 10th November. Click-and-collect orders will be ready for collection a minimum of 20 minutes after they have been placed.
Thank you for your continued support during these interesting times.
Look after yourselves and stay safe.
All the best, Simon, Sam, Titch, Jack, Tom and Kieran.
